Duk da ƙalubalen da ake fuskanta a gaba, ZigBee tana da kyakkyawan matsayi a mataki na gaba na haɗin IoT mai ƙarancin wutar lantarki. Shirye-shiryen shekarar da ta gabata sun kammala kuma suna da matuƙar muhimmanci ga nasarar wannan tsari.
Tsarin ZigBee 3.0 ya yi alƙawarin sanya haɗin kai ya zama sakamako na halitta na ƙira tare da ZigBee maimakon tunani bayan an yi da gangan, da fatan kawar da tushen sukar da aka yi wa baya. ZigBee 3.0 shi ma shine ƙarshen shekaru goma na gwaninta da darussan da aka koya ta hanya mai wahala. Ba za a iya wuce gona da iri ba. Masu tsara samfura suna daraja mafita masu ƙarfi, waɗanda aka gwada lokaci, kuma aka tabbatar da samarwa.
Ƙungiyar ZigBee Alliance ta kuma yi wa yarjejeniyarsu katanga ta hanyar amincewa da yin aiki da Thread don baiwa ɗakin karatu na aikace-aikacen ZigBee damar yin aiki akan layin hanyar sadarwa ta IP na Thread. Wannan yana ƙara zaɓin hanyar sadarwa ta IP gaba ɗaya ga yanayin ZigBee. Wannan na iya zama da matuƙar muhimmanci. Yayin da IP ke ƙara yawan kuɗaɗen shiga ga aikace-aikacen da aka takaita albarkatu, mutane da yawa a cikin masana'antar sun yi imanin cewa fa'idodin tallafin IP daga ƙarshe zuwa ƙarshe a cikin IoT ya fi ƙarfin jan hankalin IP. A cikin shekarar da ta gabata, wannan ra'ayi ya ƙaru kawai, yana ba da goyon bayan IP daga ƙarshe zuwa ƙarshe jin cewa ba makawa a duk faɗin IoT. Wannan haɗin gwiwa da Thread yana da kyau ga ɓangarorin biyu. ZigBee da Thread suna da buƙatu masu dacewa sosai - ZigBee yana buƙatar tallafin IP mai sauƙi kuma Thread yana buƙatar ɗakin karatu mai ƙarfi na aikace-aikace. Wannan haɗin gwiwa zai iya kafa harsashin haɗa ƙa'idodi a hankali a cikin shekaru masu zuwa idan tallafin IP yana da mahimmanci kamar yadda mutane da yawa suka yi imani, sakamako mai kyau ga masana'antar da mai amfani na ƙarshe. Haka kuma ana iya buƙatar haɗin gwiwa tsakanin ZigBee-Thread don cimma girman da ake buƙata don kare barazanar Bluetooth da Wi-Fi.
